Latest Updates from Our Project:

Splash Books Have Been Recompleted!
15 days ago – Mon, Mar 02, 2026 at 01:03:50 PM

The issue we mentioned before with the AI art has been fixed! The Splash Books are available to download on DTRPG through the links you would have received before, and all of the offending art has been replaced or repainted! Now we can focus on finishing the compendium and move on to fulfillment! Please stay tuned!

Also, we had a livestream where we talked about this, but our business is going to switch to a model that involves running a BackerKit campaign like this 4 times a year, once for each quarterly book release. We would love to count on all of your support for these in the future! Please check the link below, which was the stream where we discussed it and our plans moving forward:

Art Correction Almost Complete
20 days ago – Wed, Feb 25, 2026 at 12:29:20 PM

Hey all! Sorry for the silence. We've been working to replace all the offending art pieces, and it's been an exhausting sprint. The artists who work one our books really came through to help us do this as quickly as we can, and we're almost done replacing all of the assets we need to replace. We estimate we'll have them done, as well as all the remaining art for Blade, Bone, & Benefit, by mid-March.

Lana's Fateful Vault is already fully replaced, with Dead Saint Record and Three Gentle Sins having only a small handful left.

Unfortunate Scheduling Setback - Issue with an Artist
about 1 month ago – Thu, Feb 05, 2026 at 01:21:27 PM

We made a formal announcement about this on our Patreon, which I will post here for furthur clarity, but I wanted to make sure I posted this here as well:

Patreon Update About Delays

We were just about done with the Blade, Bone , and Blood document, but when we released the Paraprismatic Tempest splash book we were made aware by a member of our community that an art element in it at the time closely matched the art of a character from Wuthering Waves. We decided to remove and replace it, but while we we looking into the artist who supplied it, we suspected their work used AI tools in its rendering, if not its outright generation. We confronted them about it and they admitted to it after pressure was put on them, but they didn't clarify the extent they used AI.

Let me be clear at this point: Nat19 does not condone the use of AI in any generative capacity, and it has no space in the TTRPG space. We are embarrassed to not have noticed the signs (which were somewhat obvious with hindsight). We have altered our work contracts with artists to prevent this from happening in the future (specifically, including clauses that should stone-wall anyone who might us AI in their work for us).

We are also going back and burning their work out of our previous books. That artist did roughly 47 images for us over the last year and a half, which were included in Lana's Fateful Vault, Dead Saint Record, Three Gentle Sins, and had been making images for Blade, Bone, and Benefit. We are removing those now, and have every one of our artists on deck for the next month to replace and repair the damage.

Due to this, we need to push back our print orders for this project by about a month. We're glad we caught this before sending those out, and we fully understand if anyone is disappointed with our inability to catch this over the last year, but we're redoubling our efforts to make sure everything is hand-drawn.

The books will be updated on DTRPG as they're corrected, and when they are done we'll also post updates here so people know to go check them and redownload the files. Artists are focusing on everything broadly, but we're mostly attempting to fix them in release order, which is the following:
  1. Lana's Fateful Vault
  2. Dead Saint Record
  3. Thee Gentle Sins
  4. Blade, Bone, and Benefit

They had also done some assets for the Paraprismatic Tempest - as mentioned earlier - but as of sending this message those have already been fixed.

Please make sure to complete your surveys so we can include you in our final counts and send everything to printing! We'll be locking orders on the 1st, and after that period, you can still enter preorders, but completed surveys will be locked, and we'll begin sending out our initial print orders.
